Free Lifetime Warranty

Sofia Lior is committed to providing exceptional quality at an exceptional value.  All of our jewelry is constructed using the highest quality materials and is inspected to ensure that the item is free from manufacturing defects.  We will repair your jewelry for as long as you own your jewelry. Loose stones lost stones will be repaired at no charge as long as our jewelers see that these occurred under normal wear. If the ring needs repair and was subject to wear not deemed normal a representative will contact you and discuss the needed repairs.

In the event that a repair is needed beyond the lifetime warranty:

Over time, your ring may need common upkeep or repairs.

For example: Prongs wear down and may require them to be β€œretipped.”  Prongs may bend allowing the diamond to become loose or fall out. A Sofia Lior representative will discuss the needed repairs to keep your jewelry secure and safe to wear.

Free Shipping

We will ship for free to the US and Canada.  We provide free, fast, and completely insured shipping regardless of the purchase amount. We will ship UPS or FedEx, whichever is best for your area. Orders over $500 will receive their package priority overnight (excluding weekends and some holidays). Orders under $500 will have their orders shipped Two Day Saver (excluding weekends and holidays).

When shipping we:

  1. Will insure all items for their full value.
  2. Will allow alternate shipping addresses or a UPS/FedEx location. 
  3. Will require a signature to receive the package
  4. Will NOT leave a package at your door.
  5. Will NOT ship to PO Boxes.      
    Currently we ship to the US and Canada.  We will extend international shipping to other countries in the future.

Resizing

Within the first we will resize your ring once for free. If you are needing sizing beyond the one year, a $35 fee will be applied to white, yellow and rose gold and $60 for platinum. You can request a return label for $30. There is no charge to ship the ring back to you.

Some rings cannot be resized due to size restrictions where the finger size is outside the sizing range for that ring design. If this is the case, and you have had the ring in the first 30 days, we will remake the ring in your size. Outside the 30 day return policy, but during the 1 year free sizing, a fee will be applied to have the ring remade. Changing the ring size may alter the look of the ring. A Sofia Lior representative will discuss these issues.

Eternity bands cannot be resized and will be remade at no charge within the first 30 days.  If outside the 30 days but within the first year, a fee will be applied to have the ring remade.

Engraving

Consider a heartfelt message on the inside of the engagement ring or wedding band.  We offer free engraving on the rings that can be engraved. Not all rings can be engraved or take a lengthy message. Many engrave the wedding date or a meaningful date, initials or a small personal phrase. Make it personal to the two of you!

Return Policy

Standing behind every item we sell, we understand that you may change your mind about the ring or item. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, you may return it in its original, unworn condition within 30 days, for a full refund or exchange.

  1. Please contact our customer service department at (214) 655-8822.
  2. Inform the representative that you intend to return an item.
  3. You will then receive an email with a prepaid, insured FedEx or UPS label, with instructions on how to properly secure your items to be returned. 
  4. Take the package to you nearest shipping facility.  If you need shipping supplies FedEx or UPS will assist you.  
  5. We should receive the package within 48hours (excluding holidays and weekends).
  6. Your refund will be processed within 2 weeks and will be paid in the same method as the original purchase. Bank wires will be receiving a company check. 

Return Terms and conditions

Items returned without a RQ number, items shipped outside the 30-day return privilege, or uninsured packages will not be accepted.

Items returns must be in new and unworn condition to receive a refund. Items showing wear will not be accepted.

Paper work such as documents or certificates must be returned with the merchandise to receive the refund. Lost certificates will have to be replaced and a $300 charge will be deducted from the return.

Upgrade Policy

If you want to upgrade your Sofia Lior lab grown diamond, you may upgrade your lab grown diamond for another lab grown or natural earth mined diamond for at least 2x or greater value. The diamond to be upgraded must be in original condition and must have the original laboratory grading certificate.

Appraisals

An appraisal is a document stating the approximate retail replacement value of an item to be insured by a third party. The replacement cost is calculated using current market metrics, matching retail store’s pricing. The appraisal includes the center stone characteristics of cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. It will outline the setting that the center stone is set in, detailing the color and karat of the metal and additional carat weight and the quality of the diamonds or gems in the ring.  In the event of a loss, theft, or damage, your insurance company will give you an equal replacement value for your item. A detailed appraisal ensures that you will receive an accurate replacement for your purchase. Insurance companies rely on appraisals to calculate the best coverage rate for your diamond or piece of fine jewelry.

We recommend that you insure your jewelry to protect it from loss or damage.  For your peace of mind and convenience, Sofia Lior has teamed up with Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group to protect your purchase.  Insuring with Jewelers Mutual allows you to have worldwide protection against loss, theft, damage, or mysterious loss. Please give yourself peace of mind by insuring your valuable purchase.
